Animated holiday email signatures

A Season dresses the email signature you already have for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year: art that moves above and below it, its colours turned to the holiday's, and your photo dressed too, with a hat set on your head. Every template, at any size. Try one free, then copy it with the Signature plan.

Nine Seasons for every template

Pick any template, then a Season. esigna draws the art to your signature’s width and dresses your photo for it. Turn it off after the holiday and your signature is back as it was.

How animated signatures work in email

Email apps don't run video or code, so the motion is a GIF, the one kind every app can show.

Gmail, Apple Mail, Outlook on the web, the new Outlook and the Gmail and Outlook phone apps play a GIF. Older versions of Outlook for Windows show only its first frame (Can I email), so the first frame of every Season is a finished picture: the lights all lit, the table already set.

Your name, title and contact details stay as text, as they are without a Season, so they can be read, copied and tapped even when pictures are turned off. The art and your dressed photo are pictures hosted online, which keeps the email itself light; they load when the email is opened, like any signature image.

Pieces that sit on the page with no background of their own, such as lights and greetings, have clean edges, so they look right on a light or a dark email page.

What it costs

Free to try on your own signature, with no account. You pay once to copy it.

  • Every Season copies with the Signature plan, $9 once (launch price until October 31, then $19), with no subscription. It is yours for every holiday after this one too.
  • The plan also copies the Pro Templates and keeps up to 25 saved signatures.

FAQ

Seasons

What is an animated email signature?

One with a moving picture in it, almost always a GIF: lights that twinkle, leaves or snow that fall. Email apps don't run video or code, so a GIF is the one kind of motion that works across them. Your name and details stay as text.

Will the animation play in Gmail and Outlook?

Yes in Gmail, Apple Mail, Outlook on the web, the new Outlook and the Outlook and Gmail phone apps. Older versions of Outlook for Windows show only the first frame of a GIF, so every Season's first frame is a finished picture: it still looks dressed, just still.

Does it work with my template?

Yes. A Season dresses every template at every size. Your layout, details and links stay exactly as they are; only the accent, the dividers, the art above and below and your photo change.

Can I turn it off after the holiday?

Yes. Turn the Season off in the Editor and your signature is back as it was, colours and photo included. Copy it again and paste it over the holiday one, or keep both saved in your email app and switch back.

Is it free?

Trying is free, with no account: turn a Season on in the gallery or the Editor and see it on your own signature. Copying a signature in a Season takes the Signature plan, a one-time purchase that also copies the Pro Templates. Without it, the free holiday banner maker puts a greeting under any signature.

What happens to my photo?

To set a hat on your head, esigna finds where your head is in your photo on its server. The preview you see is drawn and sent straight back, kept nowhere. When you copy, the dressed photo is kept online with your account, so your email can show it.
