Email signature examples
These are finished email signatures for made up people, grouped by style and by job. Each one is drawn the same way as yours, so it looks the same in Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail. Open any of them in the free Editor with its details filled in, then put in your own.
Every name, company and phone number on this page is made up, and the photos aren’t of the people named. Each group says why its signatures work, and each signature opens in the Editor exactly as you see it here. It’s free, with no sign-up.
Professional email signature examples
Name, title, firm, a phone number and whatever the job requires, like a bar admission or a confidentiality notice. The type is quiet and the logo is small, which suits emails that get forwarded to people you’ve never met.

A few short lines and no pictures. A minimalist signature reads the same on a phone, in plain text and in every inbox, and it never takes more room than the email above it.

Email signature examples with a photo
A face helps when people book you, buy from you or meet you in person, so agents, freelancers and teachers use one most. Keep the photo small and let your name sit beside it.

Email signature examples with a logo
A logo says which company the email is from before anyone reads a word. It works best small and beside the name, with the links in a colour from the logo.

Email signature examples by job
What goes in a signature depends on the work. A developer links GitHub and leaves out the photo, a realtor needs a license number and a lawyer a disclaimer. Each job below has its own page with four designs and what to put in them.

FAQ
Email signature questions
What should an email signature include?
Your name, your job title and company, and one or two ways to reach you, usually a phone number and a website. Add a photo, a logo or social links only if they help the people you write to. Some jobs need more, like a license number or a confidentiality notice.
How long should an email signature be?
Three to five lines is plenty for most people. The minimalist examples above show how little you need: a name, a title and one way to reach you. Every extra line is one more thing to read under every email you send.
Should an email signature have a photo?
It helps when people meet you or book you, as agents, freelancers and consultants find. In a large company or a law firm, a logo or plain text is more usual. Keep it small: the photos in these examples are about 70 to 130 pixels wide.
Can I use these examples for my own signature?
Yes. Each one opens in the free Editor with its details filled in. Replace them with yours, add your own photo or logo, and copy it into Gmail, Outlook or Apple Mail. There’s no sign-up and nothing to credit.
Are these real people?
No. Every name, company and address here is made up, and the phone numbers are in the 555-01 range kept for fiction. The photos come from stock libraries or were generated, so they aren’t the people named.
